Willys Jeep vs JD Gator. Here is an interesting test, a 1946 Willys Jeep vs a JD Gator, which would you say is the best?
Both these vehicles are popular with ranch owners but they come from totally different era’s and technology, and while the John Deere Gator has all the bells and whistles, the Jeep has 70 plus years reputation of being a very tough and reliable workhorse and easy to maintain.
You be the judge but in my opinion chances are highly likely in 20 years time this ’46 Jeep will still be going strong whereas the Gator will have been replaced at least 2, probably 3 times.
